EIA Directive Members of the European Parliament have voted in favour of changes to the proposed new EIA Directive, for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).  The revised Directive will require impact assessments to be prepared and considered by experts. This will broaden the scope of EIA’s to consider impacts such as climate change and biodiversity.
