Somerset Flooding
After the extensive Somerset Flooding of the levels during the 2013/14 winter. The Somerset Levels and Moors Flood Action Plan has been released. This follows from partnership between Somerset County Council, the Environment Agency, local residents and other interested parties. The Flood Action Plan sets out six key objectives, based on various risk reduction actions. Such as river and land management and mitigation actions. Such as local and infrastructure resilience.
